Welcome to the Thanet Disability Forum
Thanet Disability Forum is run by people with disabilities for people with disabilities. Its members come from a broad variety of backgrounds with a wide range of experiences and skills.
Events and Activities
These could be concerns about:
- Education Housing
- Employment Independent Living
- Transport Information
- The Built Environment
- Economic Independence
- The Delivery of Social and Health Services
Disability Forums are working in many districts throughout the country and are making a huge difference for people within their communities by influencing the development of services. They are independent and develop their own agenda. By working together in Forums, people with disabilities can have an impact.
Thanet Disability Forum is a voice for disabled people and provides an opportunity to speak out on local and national disability issues.
The TDF hold open meetings.
These meeting offer opportunities for member to meet their committee, listen to various speakers and to view services and equipment provided by local groups and businesses.
